Laser removes the wart and kills the HPV virus

All types of Warts ( Hands, feet, Face, Genitals )

All types of Warts ( Hands, feet, Face, Genitals )

At Laven Clinic, We treat a large number of warts, all types. Obviously we took advantage of our extensive Laser experience and the numerous laser systems at our disposal to refine and execute the best treatment possible to our warts patients , whether their warts were simple common warts ( Verruca ) on fingers, hands, face, soles of feet, back..etc or Genital warts on penile shaft, labial or Vaginal walls, Peri- anal skin or inside the anal canal. Our bias for Laser ( as opposed to other methods of wart treatments ) has its reasons, it is really the only tool that removes the wart, kills the virus at its base and gives best cosmetic results in one shot. We do warts laser treatments during regular visit, no special prep is needed, we will counsel our patients and advise them on all other aspects of their disease.

Few useful information about Genital warts

Is there a simple and permanent Cure of Genital Warts ..?

The answer is YES.

What are “ Genital warts “ ? What do they look like ?

Genital warts affect both men and women and can occur at any age, they are flesh-colored or gray growths found in the genital area and anal region where they could extend into the anal canal ( they could transform into cancer inside the anal canal , therefore they are very important to treat , they can also cause itching, bleeding,… etc).

Are Warts contagious ?

Genital warts are sometimes referred to as Condyloma Acuminata or venereal warts. They represent the most common sexually-transmitted disease caused by a virus. The warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Infection with genital warts may not be obvious especially in women. Genital warts can spread during vaginal or anal sex, and by sharing towels and/or sex toys. But you don’t need to have penetrative sex to pass the infection on because HPV is spread by skin-to-skin contact.

What should I do if I get them ?

You should not use wart creams that are available over the counter because they are designed to only treat warts on the hands or verrucas. If you are diagnosed with genital warts, it is recommended you do not have sex, including anal and oral sex, until your genital warts have fully healed. This will help prevent you passing the infection on to others. It will also help speed up your recovery.

What treatment is available at Laven Clinic for Genital warts ?

Of all treatment methods available to us in modern medicine, we became distinguished at Laven Clinics by our effective , swift and painless approach to Genital warts issue, we combine in out treatment protocols effective laser ablation from the first visit, followed by topical treatment to prevent recurrence and vaccination of patient and partner(s). Our laser treatment type depends on the location, multitude and thickness of the lesions but in all scenarios it is performed in a nearly painless fashion within few minutes in an office discrete setting. We believe that our method surpasses other methods (such as creams, freezing, cauterizing, liquids..etc) by a distance..it is neat, painless and most effective because the laser not only cauterizes the lesions , but it kills the virus at the base of each lesion.

Do you treat all kind of skin warts ?

Yes, we treat all types of warts (Genital and Non-genital) and in all locations (hands, feet, Anal, Labial, pubic, penile…Facial..etc) in again, discrete and private setting, that will offer you the cure with the least inconvenience, embarrassment or pain.

What about anal region warts ? Why are they so important to treat ?

Not all patients with anal warts have anal canal warts (inside the anus) and vice versa, but examining the anal canal for warts is extremely important, because of the few but serious consequence of developing anal canal cancer following HPV infections reaching the mucosal lining of the anal canal, this is usually done by Proctoscopy (insertion of a lit scope in the anus and physically looking in an organized fashion for any wart lesion and lasering it when found, it is an integral part of our anal warts treatment protocol). In the vast majority of our patients we are able to cure their warts within one or more session of treatment.

How about getting the HPV vaccine ? Does it help ?

We recommend the vaccine to all our patients younger than 45 yrs old, both males and females, it will not help in curing what they already have of warts but it will help in preventing future attacks by other types of HPV virus ( in addition to helping in prevention of cervical cancer in women ).
