Dr Salil received his education and training from the prestigious Sion Hospital (Bombay University) in Mumbai and did his masters from the world renowned K.E.M and Tata Cancer Hospitals in Mumbai.

Dr. Salil is a senior, well qualified and highly experienced surgeon from Mumbai, India with an extensive work experience of 24 years in general laparoscopic and laser surgeries. He has been working for the last 16 years in well known large, multispeciality hospitals in Dubai.

He was unit head and consultant surgeon at the teaching MGM and NMMC Group of Hospitals in Navi Mumbai before venturing out overseas to Australia and Singapore where he trained and worked in specialized minimally invasive surgery (GI, Colorectal and Vascular).

Dr. Salil’s keen interest in the field of proctology, varicocele and varicose veins became clear 6-8 years ago which let him to seek advanced training in laser surgery at St Elizabeth Hospital Cologne Germany, Tunisia and Latvia at centers of excellence. He has been practicing lasers for the last 8 years in Dubai.
His areas of special interest are minimally invasive treatments for hemorrhoids, fistulas, sinuses, fissures, pilonidal cyst / proctology and varicose veins and advanced laparoscopic varicocelectomy.

He is a member of various reputed surgical societies and has many publications to his credit.

He comes from a family of well known and respectable doctors and has a keen interest in sports and animal welfare.
